Her recommendation to remove part of one wall has made our new kitchen/dining area appear enormous. The color scheme is perfect; I actually changed one of her suggestions at the last minute to a color that I had picked out and what a mistake that was! I went back to Kristen's color choice and, of course, it was exactly right. The ingenious microwave cabinet that Kristin designed hides our microwave from view when we want a more polished look to our kitchen space. you know I had an interior designer over yesterday to consult me on what
colors to paint. She is amazing, within 90 mins she showed me how to paint
the place in ways I never considered. Anyway I'm excited. She is picking
up some paint so I can paint some cardboard and put it around the house to
decide if I really like the colors.
She also told
me she can help clients with staging a home with what they have and add to
if necessary.

Every morning, as I come into the kitchen, I still marvel at your ability to design and coordinate a space which you had not seen - and had only the dimensions, permanent placements, and a piece of the window valance material - to go by! I enjoyed every moment that we worked together - at the Home Depot Kitchen Design Center - as you listened to me describe my wants and needs and then translated that information into a finished whole that I could not have envisioned. Everything fit together perfectly and your suggestions for counter tops, wall color, and especially the flooring, have drawn many compliments from my friends.
